Gmail local
What it is
Gmail local runs on its owner's own computer. When he asks his assistant (Claude) about his email, it searches and reads his own Gmail accounts, marks messages it has handled with a label, and drafts replies. It sends an email only when he says to.
How it signs in
Each account is connected only when the owner signs in on Google's own page and clicks Allow. It talks only to Google's Gmail API, keeps its sign-in tokens in his computer's keychain, and has no server of its own.
